In the third quarter of 2025, the Maps and Navigation app sector in Angola saw varied performance across leading applications. According to Sensor Tower's data, these apps experienced significant fluctuations in downloads and active user metrics.

Heetch - Ride-hailing app showed a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 9.8K and peaking at 13.1K by early September. This upward trend was mirrored in active users, which grew from 62.5K to 66.9K by the start of September, before slightly decreasing to 63.4K by the end of the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads beginning at 11.2K and increasing to 15.8K by September's onset. Active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at 65.6K and reaching a high of 69.5K, before settling at 63.6K at the quarter's close.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced fluctuations in downloads, beginning at 9.6K, dropping mid-quarter, and then rising again to 9.2K by the end of September. The app's active users increased consistently, starting at 37.4K and ending the quarter at 55.3K.

Yango Pro (Taximeter)—driver had a steady download rate with numbers oscillating between 3.8K and 5K. Active user numbers also showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter at 19.5K, up from 17.6K at the beginning.

Yango Lite: light taxi app saw a modest increase in downloads, starting at 1.7K and reaching 2.5K by September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around an average of 13.5K.
